When working with refrigeration and heat pump systems in potentially explosive environments, special requirements apply to the equipment. Now introducing the testo 565i EX—an ATEX-certified version of Testo’s automatic vacuum pump, compatible with both A2L and A3 refrigerants.
Automated evacuation and documentation
The testo 565i EX builds on the automated workflow of the testo 565i. For applications outside Ex zones, the pump can be used in conjunction with the testo 552i vacuum sensor to automate the evacuation process.
Once the set vacuum target value is reached, pumping stops automatically and a vacuum hold test begins. The results are logged for digital documentation of the process and the system’s leak tightness.
Measurements can be configured and monitored in real time via the testo Smart App. In addition, measurement reports can be created and sent directly from a mobile device.
testo 565i or testo 565i EX?
The testo 565i EX offers the same automated workflow as the testo 565i, but is also ATEX-certified for use in potentially explosive environments. For applications where ATEX certification is not required, the testo 565i is an alternative with the same focus on efficient data collection and documentation.
